Goodbye FB!
I've had it with FB! It's just a scummy place where you just shout into a void. I'm done. I think I'm going to slowly distance myself from it. I'm more comfortable with smaller communities anyway.

This idea came to me after my boyfriend showed me that he posted about Chip's passing on FB and then after that, he started getting a bunch of cat/pet death and pet grief stuff. Ugh! That's so gross. We DON'T want to be reminded of that! We are already PLENTY aware of it! It's soulless and disgusting!

So yeah, you'll be getting life updates, gaming stuff and anything else I enjoy posting about here instead of FB. Heck! I'll even put stuff into sections based off topics so you don't need to read it if you're not interested! Don't like my gaming stuff, ok. Go read my life stuff instead!

So for the past few days, whenever I've walked through the living room, for a split second, I thought I noticed Chip in his regular spots. Then I turn my head to look and it's just an empty space. It's a weird feeling. Maybe he's there in spirit. Knowing how social he was, I can see him still "visiting" us.

"I'm still here. You just can't see me. Yes. I still love dad more."

So we've been looking more into what Chip may have had. Boyfriend got his charts from our vet. We suspect he may have had Irritable Bowel Disease for almost his whole life. His symptoms most likely started between 2013 and 2015. Vet didn't warn us or anything about symptoms or suspected diseases until October of last year. Yes, we have told them, in the past, about his chronic diarrhea! They said put him on special food. I don't believe they mentioned anything about IBD.

They said, back in October, he may have cancer but they felt it was too much of a risk to get him tested. At that time, they said it could be weeks for him to live.

Here's what gets me. Boyfriend and I are NOT vets and we suspected that he had IBD for almost his whole life by looking at his charts and doing some digging online. The vet couldn't do that?! Seriously?!

Yeah, after Misty's time is up, we're looking into other vets!

That cat was a fucking trooper! Living just over 16 years with this! Chip passed on the 15th of June. We got him around June 21, 2011 and he was just a baby fluff ball kitten.
